Alex Owen underwent training in both the UK & China. He trained for over 9 years and holds a 1st Class Hons. degree from Middlesex University and also a Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing Chinese Medicine University in China. He has been running clinics in the UK since 2005, across London and Hertfordshire. He taught for several years at the Middlesex University’s training clinic and also help set up and run the UK’s first full time maternity acupuncture service on the NHS, at Whittington Hospital.

His knowledge of medical conditions is very broad but his main specialities are in the areas of male and female fertility, maternity and pain conditions. Alex has been helping couples conceive for many years and has a wealth of experience, providing help for couples trying naturally or undergoing IVF. His expertise does not end at conception though, working for 4 years on the maternity ward at Whittington hospital means Alex has a great amount of experience with many pre  and post natal conditions, offering support throughout pregnancy, from morning sickness to labour itself.

Alex offers a friendly, professional and patient centred experience, with treatments including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tuina (Chinese massage), cupping and more.
