Dr Charis Theocharous was educated in China, at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, where he gained his Bachelor of Medicine degree in Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Therapeutic Massage (1990) and Masters of Clinical Medicine in Acupuncture and Moxibustion (1993). With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Theocharous has run a successful TCM practice in Cyprus since 1993 where he sees and treats a wide range of conditions using both acupuncture and herbal medicine.

In 2008 Dr. Theocharous founded the Pancyprian Association of Acupuncturists Ltd in Cyprus. He is also a board member of the Pan-European Federation of TCM Societies (PEFOTS).
