Mrs Bernie Kelly was educated at the Acupuncture Foundation College (Irish Institute of Chinese Medicine), Dublin and graduated in the field of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bernie is also a specialist nurse (NHS) with over 20 years’ experience in chronic disease management, palliative care, and leadership.

An experienced TCM practitioner, Bernie has successfully treated many chronic conditions such as pain, cancer care, skin conditions, digestive issues, sleep disorders and mental health ailments.  With a special interest in women’s health, Bernie also has extensive knowledge in the areas of fertility, pregnancy, and menopause.

Membership with other professional bodies include the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the Nursing and Midwifery Council, UK.  All regulatory institutions that ensure high standards of treatment and strict codes of ethics and practice.

Bernie founded and manages Blossom Health NI, a very busy health clinic offering alternative and complementary therapies such as acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, gua sha and fire cupping as well as other therapies such as lifestyle advice, yoga and pilates.  Blossom Health NI is set in the Sperrin Mountains, Draperstown in the district of Magherafelt.
